Many thanks from our Knights of Columbus to all of those who participated in and/or sponsored our Monarchs' Dance supporting Water With Blessings. As a result of this endeavor, we have donated over $11,000 which will provide almost 760 families with clean water; and had a great evening of music and dancing as well. Special thanks to our sponsors for the evening: Bob Ietzi, Dan Block, Jack Banbury, Larry Kessler, Mike Wurth, Mike Sailor and Tom & Ann Reynolds!
The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic lay organization with more than 1.7 million members in 13,000 councils located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Poland, and several other countries. Knights are Catholic men who are committed to making their community a better place while supporting their Church. Knights share camaraderie with men who hold values similar to yours. They support Saint Bernadette and its causes while deepening their faith, and they believe in protecting and enhancing their family life.
Time: At Saint Bernadette, the Bishop Flaget Council holds monthly meetings the first Tuesday of each month and perform acts of charity in our community with events like Chili Cook-off, Pancake Breakfast, Priest Appreciation Dinner and other charitable events during the year. Participation in events is voluntary with no minimum number of hours required. We hope each Knight will work at least one of our events each year.
Gifts and talents: This is open to all Catholic men of our parish 18 and older.
