The Sacrament of Baptism
- Baptism for infants and children aged 7 or younger of registered parishioners is celebrated throughout the year. Parents are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class prior to scheduling a baptism.
  
  Group baptisms are celebrated monthly on the FIRST WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH outside of Mass.
  On even number months (February, April, June, August, October, and December) the baptism is at 12:15pm on Sunday.
  On odd months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) the baptism is at 5:15pm on Saturday.
  *****PLEASE NOTE: Baptisms are not celebrated during LENT.
  
  If you are interested in having your child baptized, please complete the form at the bottom of this page. After we receive your form we will be in contact to discuss what preparation is needed.
  If you are not a registered member of Saint Bernadette, you will need a letter of permission from your home parish or you will need to become a registered member of Saint Bernadette.

  Godparents
  Only one Godparent is required for Baptism, but you may have two (one male and one female). A Godparent must be an actively practicing Roman Catholic, fully initiated and at least 16 years of age. One baptized, non-Catholic may serve as a Christian Witness to the Baptism along with the Catholic Godparent.
