The mission of the Art & Environment Committee is to provide décor in the church that will enhance the liturgical season, without taking away from the beauty of our worship space.
Time: We meet four or five times a year to determine what we will do for the seasons. Other time requirements are dependent upon your individual responsibilities to this ministry. Committee members are also responsible for setup and takedown, as needed.
Gifts and talents:
Members: of the committee do not need any special skills; only to be open to ideas and willing to offer their advice. We have members who sew, build, and arrange flowers, shop for materials, water plants, move décor items, and many other things.
Coordinator: manages overall design and budget, design catalog, and scheduling.
Team Leaders: lead teams in design aesthetics
Team Members: are involved with the design, setup, takedown, and storage.
